Former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Usman Yusuf, has cautioned the Federal Government and security agencies to refrain from interfering in the ongoing Kano State emirate tussle.

In an interview with ARISE TV, Yusuf described the crisis as a family affair between “blood brothers” and warned that anyone who gets involved will suffer consequences.

He expressed suspicion over the timing of the crisis, suggesting it may be a distraction from more pressing national issues.

Yusuf noted that many Kano citizens are uninterested in the matter and are not engaging in violent acts, emphasizing the need for a hands-off approach to resolve the issue internally.
