Family to Hold 3rd Year Remembrance in Honour of Friday Igbegbe | Daily Report Nigeria

The family of the late Chief Friday Igbegbe has announced a remembrance event in his honour.

Themed “Patriotism & Communal Consciousness as Moral Tools for Community Development: Remembering the Life and Contributions of the Late Chief Friday Igbegbe”, the event aims to celebrate the life, legacy, and contributions of Chief Igbegbe.

Igbegbe was known for his commitment to the development of his community and for promoting unity among his people.

According to a public announcement signed by Elder Bouy Ogisi Joseph on behalf of the family, the remembrance will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at No. 1 Aroutenghanbiri Quarters, Ogbe-Ijoh town, with the program scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.

A keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Benjamin Okaba, a respected academic and community leader.

Okaba is expected to focus on the themes of patriotism and communal consciousness, emphasizing how these values are essential for community growth and development—principles that the late Chief Igbegbe exemplified throughout his life.

The family invites friends, well-wishers, and community members to attend the event and join them in celebrating the remarkable life of Chief Friday Igbegbe.
