Godfin Kipkirui Kirwa, 25, has reportedly died from head injuries he sustained after being beaten by his father-in-law.
Kirwa was assaulted by his father-in-law over a domestic dispute with his daughter.
He was further taken to Kericho County hospital for medical care but later died.

A police report read;
“Godfin Kipkirui died while receiving treatment at Kericho County Hospital where he had been rushed after sustaining serious head injuries after being beaten by his father-in-law Kiprotich Keter. Kipkirui had domestic issues with his wife.”
Remains of the deceased has been deposited at the hospital’s morgue awaiting an autopsy.
The suspect, however, has been arrested and placed in custody and will soon be arraigned in court, according to reports.
