He wrote;

Anyone that tells the Igbo or members of any other ethnic nationality to leave Lagos or anywhere else in the South West and that threatens them with violence is talking rubbish and is on their own.

I call on my Igbo brothers in Lagos and the South West to stand their ground, stand firm and stay where they are. The sons of Oduduwa will stand by you.

The South West is safe for all non-indegenees. We are a peaceful, loving, liberal, kind and accommodating people. We are not animals and thugs.

We do not give our compatriots ultimatums, throw them out of our territory or threaten them with violence.
