FG Accredits Top Institutions for Free Degree Programs

FG Accredits Top Institutions for Free Degree Programs | Daily Report Nigeria

The Federal Government of Nigeria, in collaboration with the Board of Education, National Universities Commission (NUC), and Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has fully accredited seven prestigious institutions for no-fee-paying degree programs.

These institutions, which offer a blend of military and civilian staff and students, include:

– Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State
– Nigeria Defence Academy, Kaduna
– Airforce Institute of Technology, Kaduna
– Nigeria Army University Biu
– Nigeria Maritime Academy, Delta
– Nigerian Army College of Nursing, Nigeria & Airforce College of Nursing, Kaduna
– Armed Forces Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics School

These institutions were also accredited by top bodies such as the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN), and Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE).

Free Tuition and Open Admission

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) and Armed Forces Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics School (AFEME) are offering free tuition for degree courses, with no ASUU strike disruptions.

Interested candidates can apply for admission or change their institution on JAMB if AFIT is not their first choice.

– B.Eng Aerospace Engineering
– B.Eng Automotive Engineering
– B.Eng Civil Engineering
– B.Eng Electrical/Electronics Engineering
– B.Eng Information and Communication Technology

– Accounting
– Banking and Finance
– Business Administration
– Chemistry
– Computer Science

– National Diploma (ND) programs in various fields
– Higher National Diploma (HND) programs in various fields

Admission Requirements

– Minimum UTME score of 180 for degree programs
