A fire outbreak has been reported at the office complex of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation in Abuja.
Eyewitnesses said the incident was first noticed around 8:20 a.m., when smoke began billowing from one section of the building, causing concern among workers in the complex.

The blaze reportedly started in Section C of the facility, prompting staff members to quickly move away from the affected area while emergency responders were alerted to the situation.
Officials in the media department of the Office of the Head of Service confirmed the incident, stating that the fire was limited to the affected section of the building.
They added that emergency officials were already at the scene working to contain the situation and prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the complex.
Authorities said the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined, noting that an investigation will commence after the situation is fully brought under control.
