There was a palpable fear among residents of Iseyin in Oyo State due to a fire outbreak at one of the stations of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
DAILY REPORT NG gathered that the filing station, located at Agip area of Iseyin, caught fire around 2 p.m.
The fire was eventually quenched as local youths in the town assisted firefighters in extinguishing the raging inferno.

Some houses close to the station were also affected, intensifying the anxiety among the residents.
