Popular Abuja-based radio station, LOVE FM 104.5 has been gutted by fire, Daily Report Nigeria can confirm.

The private radio station located in the Mpape suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, was consumed by fire early in the evening on Friday, December 4, 2020.

According to a staff who confirmed the sad incident to SaharaReporters, she had vacated the station’s premises a few minutes before the outbreak of the inferno.

The inferno started around 7.30 pm and consumed computers, furniture and transmitters at the radio station.

Cause of the outbreak was yet to ascertained as at the time of filing this report.However, eyewitnesses say it took men of FCT Fire Service over 3hrs to arrive the, but could do nothing as the raging fire had engulfed the entire building.
