A residential building in Kwara State was on Monday, December 13, razed by fire leading to the loss of properties.
The building was situated at Gaa Duroyi Akewusola, Amoyo town, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State and is comprised of seven flats which were all damaged as the fire service personnels didnt arrived the scene on time.
The fire started at about 7 pm due to a power surge.

The Director, Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John Olumuyiwa, urged the general public to call the fire brigade on time whenever there is fire incident in their neighbourhoods.
He also advised residents never to play with anything concerning electricity in the event of a fire disaster.
