  • An unsettling video has sent shivers down the spine of many as a secondary school student is accused of kidnap.

  • According to reports, the suspect was said to have kidnapped a young boy for the purpose of money ritual.

A video has left many in shock and rage, after a secondary school student is accused of kidnapping a 10-year-old boy.

According to the video making rounds online, the boy, identified as Peter, a form 4 student at Vision Academy in Masvingo, Zimbabwe was said to have kidnapped Tawana, a neighbor’s son.

It was gathered that an alarm had been raised following the disappearance of the boy for three days, only to be found after police investigation led to the arrest of the suspect.

Peter admitted during a police interrogation that he had planned to take Tawana to clients in Chipinge, who had requested the child’s head for ritual purposes.

 

In the video, while confessing, Peter said; “When I took this child, they had told me to find a head and bring it.”

The video also showed the moment Tawana’s grandmother was wailing and sobbing in the background, as his mother confront Peter.

So, you wanted to sacrifice my child? Peter, did you really plan to do this? What did Tawana do to you? What did we do to deserve this? You have no shame!” she asked

 

While also reprimanding her son, Tawana’s mother said

,”Tawana, you hear what your friend was up to? We always warned you not to play with this older guy. Look what he wanted to do—he wanted to get you killed.”
