The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is scheduled to arraign former Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika on Thursday before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Maitama.
Sirika is facing a six-count amended charge for alleged corruption and abuse of office.
EFCC accused him of using his position to unfairly advantage his associates and family members, including his daughter, Fatima Hadi Sirika, and son-in-law, Jalal Sule Hamma.
The charges allege that Sirika awarded contracts worth over N2.8 billion without following due process.

Specifically, he was accused of influencing the award of a consultancy contract for the Nigerian Air Start-up and an apron extension contract at Katsina Airport to his associates and family members.
The EFCC claimed that Sirika committed criminal breach of trust and corruption by using his position for personal gain.
He is also accused of knowingly holding indirect private interests in the contracts awarded to his associates.
However, the Former Minister denied any wrongdoing and has pledged to cooperate with the court.
