Four people have been confirmed injured, following an auto crash in Lagos.

According to reports, four people have been confirmed injured, with each sustaining varying degrees of injury following an accident along the Lagos-ibadan expressway.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the incident, which happened on Sunday, November 3, saw a Mazda commercial bus collide with a Toyota car around 3:20 pm, near Agbo-Malu Bus Stop, Age-Mowo axis of the expressway.

 

Confirming the accident, the Unit Commander of the Federal  Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Badagry Command, in a statement released on Monday, November 4 said;

“Our personnel were alerted about the accident immediately, and we got to the scene at 3.23 p.m., three minutes after they were alerted. 

“The Mazda commercial bus, with registration number ABJ 95 YJ and a Toyota car, with registration number KTU 339 YJ, coming from Badagry, were involved in a head-on collision.

“18 persons were involved in the accident but four of them sustained varying degrees of injury.

“The four injured persons have been taken to General Hospital, Badagry, for treatment,” he said.

He added that investigations revealed the accident was caused by dangerous driving on the part of the two drivers.

He added that the two vehicles have been removed and taken to the FRSC office in Badagry.
