Brentford manager Thomas Frank expressed his joy at Frank Onyeka scoring his debut Premier League goal for the club. Onyeka found the net in Brentford’s 2-0 win against Sheffield United at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.

The Nigerian midfielder replaced Mathias Jensen in the dying moments of the match. Just three minutes after coming on, the 26-year-old scored Brentford’s second goal, seizing on a flick from Kevin Schade.

“I’m so happy for Frank, he deserved that, so happy. He came on and was part of deciding it,” Frank told the club’s official website.

With this victory, Brentford climbed to 14th place in the table.
