A Fulani socio-cultural Associations group under the aegis of Daddo Pulaku has demanded for four per cent of the total landmass of Bauchi state.
According to Vanguard, the request was contained in a memorandum submitted by the group to the Administrative Committee of Inquiry into Land Disputes.

The group made the demand to the Bauchi State Government, insisting that the government should ensure that the castle routes law is fully implemented in the state.

The group stated that the bill will enforce the non-cultivation of both sides of major roads in the state by 30 meters from drains.
The group made the demand following the increase in between farmers and herders in Bauchi. The castle routes bill has since been passed in 2018.
