Nigerian musicians, Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy have been nominated for the 2024 MOBO Awards.
Apart from Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, eight other Nigerian artistes are also nominated.
They will be competing in the Best African Music Act category along with Asake, Rema, Ayra Starr, Adekunle Gold, and others.
In addition to the Best African Music Act category, P2J, a music producer, has been nominated in the Best Producer category.

Nigerian gospel singer Limoblaze has also been nominated in the Best Gospel Act category and will be competing with Annatoria, Guvna B, Triple O, and others.
South African duo Tyla and Uncle Waffles and Cameroon’s Libianca are also nominated in the same category.
Checks revealed that this is the first time since 2017 that no Nigerian artiste has been nominated in the Best International Act category.
The MOBO Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 7, 2024, at Utilita Arena Sheffield in Sheffield, United Kingdom.
The MOBO Awards, which stands for Music of Black Origin, is an annual music award presentation that recognizes the achievements of black musicians in the UK and worldwide.
