Big Brother Naija or BBNaija, a popular reality TV show in Nigeria, has produced several winners since its inception.

1. Katung Aduwak – BBNaija Season 1 Winner

The first season, which aired in 2006, saw Katung Aduwak emerge as the winner and receive a cash prize of $100,000 prize, along with a brand-new SUV.

2. Efe – BBNaija Season 2 Winner

Michael Efe Ejeba, a 23-year-old rapper from Warri – won Big Brother Naija season 2 on Sunday 9 April 2017.

Efe Ejeba was awarded N25 million and a brand-new SUV.

3. Miracle – BBNaija Season 3 winner

Miracle Igbokwe, a 24-year-old pilot and model from Lagos – won Big Brother Naija season 3 on Sunday 22 April 2018.

BBNaija Season 8: Organisers Announce Premiere Date, Grand Prize

Miracle Igbokwe, from Imo State, was presented with a brand new Hyundai Tucson SUV, an N25 million cheque, home appliances worth N3 million, and a trip to an exotic location for two to total N45 million with of prizes.

4. Mercy Eke – BBNaija season 4 winner

Mercy Eke, a 26-year-old video vixen and businesswoman from Lagos – won Big Brother Naija season 4 on Sunday 6 October 2019.

She carted home a total of N60 million, including N30 million cash, an Innoson SUV valued at N25 million, a trip to Dubai, and other prizes.

5. Laycon – BBNaija Season 5 winner

Olamilekan “Laycon” Agbeleshe, a 26-year-old rapper and singer from Lagos – won Big Brother Naija season 5 on Sunday 27 September 2020. He won an 85 million grand prize.

A breakdown of the prize won was an N30 million cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top-of-the-range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin, courtesy of Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost.”

Others were “a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.”

6. Whitemoney – BBNaija Season 6 winner

Hazel Oyeze Onou also known as Whitemoney, a 29-year-old businessman from Lagos won Big Brother Naija Season 6 “Shine Ya Eye” on Sunday 3 October 2021. He won a N90 million grand prize.

7. Phyna – BBNaija Season 7 winners

25-year-old Phyna Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, a hype girl from Edo State, won Big Brother Naija Season 7 “Level Up” on Sunday 2 October 2022.

Phyna clinched the N100 million grand prize, which includes N50m cash prize, a new SUV from Innoson Motors, a Dubai trip for two, a year’s supply of Pepsi, a new techno phone Camon 19, a supply of Unik soap, and supply of home appliances from Nexus among other mouth-watering prizes from sponsors.

8. Ilebaye – BBNaija All Stars Winner

Ilebaye

Ilebaye Precious Odiniya, also known as Baye or Gen-Z Baddie, is a Nigerian criminologist, model, and reality Television (TV) star. Illebaye was born on May 9, 2001, and is from the Igala tribe in Kogi State.

During the season finale of the show on October 1, 2023, she was declared the winner, after scoring 30.08 percent of the final votes ahead of Mercy Eke with 23.48% of the total votes cast and was entitled to the ₦120,000,000 cash and other prizes, making her the third female to win the show.

9. KellyRae – BBNaija Season 9 Winner

Kellyrae wins BBNaija Season 9

Kingsley Oritsetimeyin aka KellyRae, won the Big Naija Season 9.

At the end of the No Loose Guard edition, KellyRae triumphed over other housemates, carting away the N100 million prize.
