This appointment matters because both teams need maximum points.

Atcho has refereed several CAF Champions League matches and brings steady control and continental experience.

Nigeria carried fresh momentum after beating Rwanda 1–0 in Uyo.

Substitute Tolu Arokodare scored in the 51st minute, Calvin Bassey marshalled the defence, and Victor Osimhen’s early exit tested the squad.

That win moved Nigeria to 10 points from seven games and tightened the group race with South Africa.

With officials now confirmed, eyes shift to lineups, injuries and tactics.
