Actor and Gulder Ultimate Search alumnus, Gideon Okeke, has taken a swipe at fellow Nollywood star Jim Iyke for his controversial birthday message to veteran actress Kate Henshaw.
Jim Iyke recently shared a birthday post to Kate that raised eyebrows across social media. In the post, he reflected on their past, accusing Kate of treating him like a little brother during a time when he had deeper intentions.
He claimed she was aware of his desire for a more intimate relationship and that he wanted to “experiment with his seed.” He further alleged that she eventually stopped being close to him and ended up marrying a foreigner.

His choice of words and tone sparked widespread criticism, and Gideon Okeke didn’t hold back in expressing his disapproval. Taking to his Instagram page, Gideon condemned the post and called out Jim Iyke’s behavior as arrogant and disrespectful.
He wrote:
“Somebody take a look at this Motherfukka over here.
It’s the narcīssistic effrontery for me.
Such a bonehead.
I wonder who puts these people in check.”
Gideon went on to critique the culture of overlooking such conduct, suggesting it encourages others to behave in similar ways.
“It’s this kinda rubbish behaviour that people condone,
that gives other people the balls to be the actual pricks they are… in real life.”
He concluded with a scathing remark:
“Small Boy.
Talk anyhow in public. Tueh.”
Gideon’s reaction has fueled ongoing conversations about accountability and public conduct within the Nigerian entertainment industry. The debate continues as fans and observers weigh in on whether Jim Iyke’s comments crossed the line or were simply misunderstood.
“They Humiliated Me” — Portable Accuses Ex-Label of False Theft Claim
Controversial Nigerian street-hop artist, Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has spoken out about a past incident in which he was accused of stealing a phone — a claim he now says was entirely false and orchestrated by his former record label, Destiny Records.
In a statement shared via his Instagram page on Monday, Portable revealed that the phone in question was actually given to him by the label’s owner, Ija Omode, who currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Union of Road Transport in Ogun State. He explained that after experiencing a lack of support from the label, he decided to part ways with them — a decision that, according to him, was met with hostility.
