Gospel Singer, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu is Dead

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu is dead.

The angelic-voiced singer died on Friday following protracted illness in a hospital in Abuja.

While cause of Osinachi’s death is still sketchy, sources have attributed her death to throat cancer.

Osinachi, renowned for a mastery in the use of Igbo language in her songs, was famous for her role in the hit song Ekwueme by Prospa Ochimana, released in 2017.

She also featured in songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja), “You no dey use me play” by Emma

Her most recent project Ikem, God of Power was released in September 2021.

She was a twin sister to “Amarachi Grace Eze, another gospel singer.

The death of Osinachi Nwachukwu is coming just weeks after another popular gospel artist, Prince Chinedu Nwadike died of leukemia.
