Governor Oyetola Approves N121m Death Benefits For Osun Retirees

Governor Oyetola Approves N121m Death Benefits For Osun Retirees | Daily Report Nigeria

Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has approved the whooping sum of N121million as death benefits for the state retirees.

According to a released statement by the Head of Service, Dr. Festus Oyebade, the sum of N32million was approved by the Governor as death benefits for local government retirees while N89million for deceased primary schools retirees under the old pension scheme.

Oyebade noted that the new development was in line with the law guiding the old pension scheme.

He further disclosed that beneficiaries names were on the notice board of Bureau of Local Government Pensions Secretariat at the state’s capital. Osogbo.
