However, Timipre Ndoni, President Ojobo Liberation Movement exercised “dissatisfaction with the executive bill, calling the attention of Burutu LGA Communities for a public hearing of the motion tagged Prohibition of night burial and night social wake keeping in Burutu Local area as a misplacement of priority in the legislative Council.

“It is laughable that the council members of Burutu LGA have misplaced their obligation as Representatives of various Communities in the LGA and it’s also pitiful that they lost their physical engagement as law makers of the council talk more of a representative of a Community.

“How can an educated Burutu legislators initiate such a barbaric motion that will not help nor be productive to the citizens of Burutu Local Government Area, instead of them to think of how to better the lives and developments of the good people of the LGA and moreso on how to settle the uncommon conflicts within the LGA or will this bill attract development in Burutu LGA?

“We therefore urge the Burutu Local Government Council legislators to focus on developmental bills and not a bill of no interest to the masses growth. There are so many developmental strides that need the attention of the people which they the councillors should composed as a motion in the council and not this a misplaced priority bills that has no impact for the people of Burutu Local Government Area.

“They the Burutu LGA Councillors should go back to the drawing table for a better motion to better the lives of Burutu Local Government people.

“Burutu Local Government Area needs Development, and not a Prohibition of night burial and night social wake keeping, we the Ojobo Liberation Movement, therefore describe this bill as a misplacement of priority in Council,” the statement read.
