Gunmen Attack Bullion Van in Ondo

Suspected armed robbers on Wednesday evening, shot a policeman while attacking a bullion van in Ondo State.

The bullion van, which was said to belong to a commercial bank in Owo, was attacked in Emure-Ile junction, along Owo-Akure highway in Owo Local Government Area of the state.

However, the van was said to be empty after it was forced open by the robbers.

DSP Funmilayo Odunlami, the Spokesperson of the state Police Command, confirmed the incident and disclosed the shot policeman was recuperating in the hospital.
