Unknown gunmen have kidnapped a National Youth Service Corps member, Miss Akande Abosede Esther in Abuja.
Miss Akande with Call-up No.: NYSC/IFE/2023/201810 (Batch B stream 2), was abducted on Wednesday in the Federal Capital Territory.
A graduate of Education/English from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Akande was on her way to the NYSC permanent orientation camp, Magaji Dan Yanusa Keffi, Nasarawa State when she was abducted.

Her abductors have since contacted Akande’s family to demand a N1 million Ransom.
However, NYSC National Director, Press and Public Relations, Eddy Megwa, declined comments on the matter when contacted.
