His right leg’s tibia and fibula were severely fractured, and doctors even considered amputation.

Haaland suffered knee injuries that ended his football career.

Dean Ashton, a striker for West Ham United, had his career derailed by a shattered ankle caused by an ill-timed tackle during a training session with Shaun Wright-Phillips. 

Despite a few appearances after the injury, he ultimately retired at 26 to avoid further damage.
