Harrysong Makes U-turn on Allegations Against Soso Soberekan

Harrison Okiri, a Nigerian singer popularly known as Harrysong, has withdrawn his allegations against music executive, Soso Soberekon.

Harrysong had alleged that Sosoberekon sent assassins to kill him sometime in Port Harcourt.

He made the claim during an interview on the Frankly Speaking show.

Harrysong had said during the podcast:

If you see Soso now you’ll say Soso na my friend. Soso is not my friend, Soso is my enemy. He sent people to come and kill me in Port Harcourt, no jokes. Ask my team, ask everyone.”

However, the singer withdrew his statement in a video posted via his Instagram page on Saturday.

This follows his arrest by the Nigerian Police on Tuesday, as he was picked up from the airport after landing in Lagos and taken into custody.

“About the video that was trending last week that some group of boys made an attempt on my life, yes it was true. It was a group of boys that were misled, I now have clarity, it wasn’t Soso who sent them.”

Harrysong also assured fans that he was now on good terms with the music executive.

He said:

“I and Soso(sic) are good now, so guys thanks to everyone that reached out.”
