Niger Delta highlife queen, Ikesima Brown who died in a fatal auto crash has been laid to rest.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Ikesima died alongside four other members of the Barrister Smooth music band along the Kogi-Abuja road on June 11.

The quintet were on their way to Abuja for a performance before the tragic incident.

The sonorous singer was laid to rest at her hometown of Obuama, Rivers State amidst tears from family members, colleagues, friends and associates.
