A 2-year-old’s lifeless body has been recovered, after reportedly being raped to death in Ningi LGA of Bauchi State.
Confirming the incident to newsmen on Tuesday, November 5, the Bauchi State Police command PRO, Ahmed Wakil said the crime was committed on November 5, 2024, and was subsequently reported to the Ningi Divisional Police Headquarters.

Wakil said;
“The lifeless body of a two-year-old girl was discovered beside a mosque on Deneva Street, Ningi LGA, showing signs of assault,” he stated.

“Upon receiving the report, detectives were dispatched to the scene, and the child’s body was taken to General Hospital Ningi, where a medical examination confirmed severe injuries from penetration, leading to her death.”
Also speaking on the incident, the Bauchi State Commissioner Of Police, Auwal Musa Mohammed condemned the act, while also assuring the general public that the perpetrators will be made to face the law.
