Police Invites Pastor Who Charged Members N310k Ticket to Heaven

The Police Command in Ekiti State has invited a Nigerian pastor for allegedly charging his members the sum of N310,000 to fly them to heaven.

Pastor Ade Abraham of Christ High Commission Ministry, also known as Royal Christ Assembly, in Kaduna State, a few days ago convinced his church members to relocate with him to a camp in Ekiti State in preparation for the end time.

According to the State’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Sunday Abutu, who confirmed this to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the pastor has been invited for questioning On Wednesday, April 27.

The police spokesperson also confirmed the invitation.

He said:
They invited Mr. Abraham ‘on the allegation of asking his members to part with N310,000 for them to prepare for the end of the world.’ ”

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that a source who is also one of Mr. Abraham’s congregants told correspondents that the pastor first moved to Ekiti in 2020 from his former base in Kaduna State.

Upon his return to Kaduna State in April, he allegedly asked members of his church to pay the sum of N310,000 as a pass fee to Omuo-Ekiti, where “the gate of heaven will open for all of them to fly to heaven.”
