Hollywood actor, Jamie Foxx suffered a stroke before he was rushed to the hospital in April.
A former professional boxer, Mike Tyson made the revelation while speaking during the latest episode of the Valuetainment podcast.
Tyson recalled that the actor was rushed to hospital following a “medical complication” he suffered while filming his upcoming Netflix movie; Back in Action.
In the movie, Foxx was set to portray Tyson in the boxing legend’s upcoming biographical TV series.

Tyson spoke on what will happen with the show following Foxx’s health struggles.

Tyson said:
“Well, it was a possibility. I don’t know what’s going to happen now. But, you know, it’s a strong possibility.”
The boxing legend also suggested a reason why not so many updates have been given on Foxx’s condition.
He said:
“If we don’t know by now, they don’t want us to know.”
Tyson, Jamie, Martin Scorsese, and Antoine Fuqua are the new executive producers for the show.
Foxx was said to have visited a physical rehabilitation facility in Chicago in late April, after initial treatment in an Atlanta hospital.
Meanwhile, a source who spoke with TMZ said that the actor is now “recovering well.”

Corinne the actor’s daughter also announced that her father had left the hospital on Instagram
She said:
“My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks recuperating.
“In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday! Thanks for everyone’s prayers and support.
“We have an exciting work announcement coming next week too!”
Foxx would likely host a new show with his daughter.
