The conflict between Israel and Hamas has resulted in a staggering death toll in Gaza, with the Hamas-run health ministry reporting that at least 43,341 people have lost their lives since the outbreak of hostilities on October 7, 2023.

The ministry confirmed that 27 additional deaths occurred in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of wounded to over 102,105.

This catastrophic escalation follows a series of intense confrontations that began when Hamas militants launched a surprise attack on Israel, prompting a severe military response.

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is rapidly deteriorating, with calls for urgent international intervention growing louder as civilians bear the brunt of the violence.

Reports from various agencies indicate a critical shortage of medical supplies and essential resources, exacerbating the plight of those affected.

The United Nations and humanitarian organizations are urging for immediate access to deliver aid to those in need.
