Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has said he doesn’t feel the need to win the World Cup to complete his career.
The 39-year-old made the statement after scoring his 900th career goal during Portugal’s 2-1 victory over Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.
After Diogo Dalot opened the scoring, Ronaldo added the second with a well-taken volley.

When asked about what he still hopes to achieve in his career, Cristiano Ronaldo explained that winning the Euros for Portugal was as significant as a World Cup victory would be.
He added, “I’ve already won two major trophies with Portugal, which were very important to me. My motivation now isn’t about chasing specific titles, but about enjoying football, and records naturally follow.”
