'I Had Suicidal Thoughts, Never Knew I'd Make it to 30' – Nancy Isime | Daily Report Nigeria

Popular nollywood actress, model and media personality, Nancy Isime has revealed that her 30th birthday was a big deal to her as she had thoughts of commiting suicide while growing up.

Nancy said this on her Instagram page while celebrating her 30th birthday.

According to her, she suffered depression and was suicidal at a young age which made her believe she would take her life before 30.

Nancy wrote:

“This was me everytime I picked up my phone on my birthday, I was surrounded by friends and when they turn to look at me, I was always in tears!

“I will be honest with you, I have looked forward to my 30th all my life but didn’t even imagine I’ll be in a space this amazing!

“As a child/teenager who suffered depression and was suicidal, I really did not think I’ll make it to 30. I always thought I would take my life before then so this is such a big deal to me!

“To be here, in good health, sound mind, surrounded by the most amazing people online and offline, experiencing love in its truest form? And yes I feel all my emotions, I cry when I’m happy, sad, overwhelmed, in love. It is the only way to live in every single moment.”

Meanwhile, Nancy held a Winter Wonderland, themed birthday party, which was star-studded, as Nollywood actors, celebrities graced the event.
