“God must really want to test my love for music. I just might bounce on y’all like Rihanna.”
In a remarkable collaboration, Rihanna released her first solo track in six years, titled “Lift Me Up,” on Friday, October 28, 2022.
The emotional ballad served as a tribute to the late actor, Chadwick Boseman, and was co-written by Nigeria’s global star, Tems.
The song was featured on the soundtrack of the highly anticipated Marvel film, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which was a sequel to the immensely successful 2018 movie “Black Panther,” where Boseman portrayed the lead character, King T’Challa.
