Dangote Group has relieved the duties of not less than 3,000 of it’s workers, Daily report Nigeria can confirm.

One of the senior officers who was sacked confirmed that himself and a former colleague were sacked from both the Obajana, Kogi state and Ibese, Ogun state stations on Monday and was called to pick up their sack letter on the 19th of June, 2020.

The source who decided to remain anonymous said Dangote declared a profit of sixteen (16) Naira per share at his Annual General Meeting (AGM) earlier in the year, adding that none of the staff including the oga’s at the top can trace a reason to the development.

When asked if the development maybe as a result of a fall in sales, He said it was a mystery because sales have been on the high side and the corona virus did not affect sales.

“It was a marching order from the headquarters and necessary entitlement would be paid” he added.
