Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo was the hero on Tuesday night as Al Hilal defeated Al Nassr.

Ighalo converted two spot kicks to inflict another defeat on the Cristiano Ronaldo-captained side

Ronaldo was booked in the 5th minute after hauling Gustavo Cuellar to the ground in a headlock as the match official brandished a yellow card on the Portuguese.

The result is a dent on Al Nassr’s title ambition as they slip three points further behind leaders Al-Ittihad, who have a game in hand.

Al-Nassr next face back Al-Wehda in the semi-finals of the King Cup of Champions.

Meanwhile, Al Hilal remain fourth on the Saudi Pro League table with 45 points.
