IGP Orders Arrest Of Popular Activist, Sunday Igboho Over Eviction Notice To Fulani Herdsmen | Daily Report Nigeria

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the arrest of popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also popularly known as Sunday Igboho, over the quick notice the latter issued to herdsmen in Oyo state.

The arrest was confirmed by the Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Friday, January 22.

According to Shehu, the IGP directed the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko, to arrest Igboho and transfer him immediately to Abuja.
