Chrisland School situated in the Opebi of Lagos State, has reacted to reports of a 10-year-old pupil of the school, who was allegedly gang-raped by classmates.

Daily Report Nigeria had reported the incident which occured when pupils of the school attended World School Games in Dubai.

The pupil was reportedly raped and filmed by her classmates, who uploaded the video on Instagram about a month ago.

The school was called out after the alarm was raised by revered music executive, Ubi Franklin.

According to Ubi, the incident was concealed from parents of the victim, who got wind of the incident from another parent.

He said the school conducted a pregnancy test on the pupil and suspended her thereafter.

However, Chrisland School in a public statement on monday, said the pupils engaged in a willful truth or dare game, where the rape victim was the main actor.

“The student with a few of her counterparts willfully participated in a game they called ‘Truth or Dare,” a game which led her and a few other co-learners to carry out immoral acts after the light outs instruction was given,” the statement reads in part.
