Croatian international Ivan Perisic has tipped Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or over contenders like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.
Carvajal was instrumental in Spain’s Euro 2024 victory in Berlin and had a stellar season, winning the UEFA Champions League, La Liga, and Supercopa de Espana with Real Madrid.
In a post on his Instagram story, Perisic expressed his support for Carvajal, noting that he could be the first defender since Fabio Cannavaro in 2006 to win the prestigious award. The 35-year-old also praised Fabian Ruiz, calling him the “MVP” of the tournament.
