Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has publicly warned actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, to stop mentioning her children while discussing his past criminal case.
In a message shared on her Instagram story, Iyabo Ojo said she does not have a problem with Baba Ijesha telling his own side of the story, but she strongly objected to him bringing her children into the issue.

She wrote that using her children in public discussions about the case would not be tolerated and warned him to stop mentioning them.
She also threatened to take legal action if he continues to involve them.
Iyabo Ojo reacted to statements Baba Ijesha made during a podcast interview with actress Biola Bayo, where he claimed that she once left her children in his care when they were younger.
The actress denied this claim. She explained that her children were usually looked after by nannies or her late mother, especially when she was busy working at her business in Ilupeju, Lagos.
According to her, she had several staff members at the time, so it would be unlikely that she would personally run errands or leave her children without proper supervision.
Ojo also stressed that the main issue of the case involved a minor and that the matter had already been decided in court.
She reminded the public that:
• The victim was 14 years old, which makes the act a serious crime.
• A Lagos court found Baba Ijesha guilty in 2022 after reviewing the evidence.
• The actor was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
She urged him to show remorse instead of trying to change the narrative publicly.
The case first became widely known in 2021 when Baba Ijesha was arrested after allegations of sexual assault involving a minor who was under the care of comedienne Princess the Comedian.
A video that surfaced online sparked national outrage and led to a court trial. After hearing the evidence, the court convicted him and handed down a prison sentence.
Recently, Baba Ijesha has been speaking publicly about his experience, including releasing a song titled “Eniwaye daran,” where he appears to share his own version of events.
