The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB alongside concerned quarters have set the cut off marks for various tertiary institutions in the 2020 admission exercise.

The 20th Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria held on Tuesday approved 160 and above as minimum national benchmark for admission into public universities for the year 2020.

The meeting which was held virtually also saw the approval of 140 as minimum Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination score for admission into private universities for the 2020 admission.

The Polity Meeting further public approved 120 and above as benchmark for admission into Polytechnics, while a cut-off mark of 100 was approved for Colleges of Education, innovative enterprises and related institutes.
