A woman identified as Hauwa Aminu, has allegedly murdered two of her children over rivalry and because her husband, Ibrahim Haruna Aminu, married a second wife.

This reportedly took place at Diso village, Gwale Local Government Area of Kano state.

Hauwa Aminu reportedly stabbed her children multiple times until they gave up the ghost.

The ugly incident occurred while a new wife was with the husband in another abode.

According to a family source, Hauwa had been living with jealousy and envy since the presence of a new wife her husband allegedly married.

This resulted to Hauwa in full rage killing her children.

Confirming the incident, the Kano State Police Command Spokesperson, Abdullahi Haruna, said that further investigations has commenced on the case.
