The Chairman, House Committee on Internally Displaced Persons, Migrants and Refugees Umar Jega, (APC Aliero/Gwandu/Jega) has denied dumping the ruling party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Discord had erupted among top members of the APC in Kebbi state after the recent party congresses and primary elections in Kebbi, leading to some members leaving the party.
However, Jega in a statement on Friday and made available to newsmen in Birnin-Kebbi, said that he hadn’t dumped the APC, and had no intention of defecting to any political party.
