Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has presented the state’s 2025 budget to the Jigawa State House of Assembly, marking a new phase of fiscal strategy.

Governor Namadi made the presentation on Friday at the Main State Assembly Hall in Dutse, the state capital.

While presenting the budget, Namadi emphasized the importance of industrialisation as a key driver of economic growth.

According to the governor, industrialisation will provide employment opportunities, generate income, boost the state’s internally generated revenue, and catalyse overall development.

“Our government is committed to industrialising Jigawa State. This will bring much-needed jobs, income, and development to our people, while also boosting our internally generated revenue,” Namadi stated.
