Joeboy Criticizes Government for Prioritizing National Anthem Change Over Critical Issues

Popular singer Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, known as Joeboy, has criticized the federal government for prioritizing the change of the National Anthem over addressing the country’s numerous challenges.

President Bola Tinubu recently signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law, reinstating the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”

In response, Joeboy questioned why changing the National Anthem was given precedence over more pressing national issues.

On his X handle, he wrote, “Of all the problems Nigerians have to deal with, changing the national anthem is priority? Okay naw.”
