John Ogu Confident Victor Osimhen Apologized to Former Coach Finidi George

Victor Osimhen

Former Super Eagles midfielder John Ogu believes that Victor Osimhen has likely apologized to former head coach Finidi George.

Victor Osimhen had publicly criticized Finidi on Instagram after false reports claimed the coach said he wouldn’t beg anyone to play for Nigeria. The Napoli striker has missed the last two international windows for the Nigerian team.

In an interview on the Fans Tribe Podcast, Ogu discussed Osimhen’s outburst. He said, “I know Osimhen from his under-17 days. He’s a good boy and very respectful, no matter who you are. Sometimes, when you’re falsely accused, you can lose control. Some people need to speak their mind to find peace, and that’s what he did.”
