BREAKING: Jonathan Lokpobiri Emerges 9th IYC President

Jonathan Lokpobiri has been elected 9th President of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Lokpobiri was elected in a keenly contested election that held at Ijaw Ware in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

Lokpobiri polled 47 votes to emerge victorious ahead of 8 other contestants.

The election earlier billed for Wednesday July 19 was postponed after ex-president Peter Igbifa abandoned the process halfway.
