The Kaduna State Police Command has ordered the arrest of a Kaduna State Traffic Law Enforcement Agency (KASTLEA) marshal who killed a driver.

Journalists were told that after an argument, a traffic official hit the driver on the head along the Ali Akilu road in Kaduna on Friday.

According to a source, the incident occurred around 4 p.m., causing traffic gridlock in the area.

“The driver died as a result of a head injury.” During the argument, he was hit with a stick.

“When the driver collapsed, the KASTLEA officers fled,” the source said.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, the Commissioner of Police, Mudassiru Abdullahi, has ordered the arrest of those responsible for the incident.

“A full investigation will be launched by the police.” KASTLEA got into an argument with some drivers. He was beaten and rushed to the hospital, where he died.

As a result, the drivers decided to block the main road in protest, but we were able to stop them,” he explained.
