David Obadofin, the traditional ruler of Aghara community in, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area (LGA) of Kogi State, has reportedly died in the custody of his abductors.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Obadofin was abducted on Easter Monday, but is said to have died on Thursday from alleged torture.

The deceased, a cashew farmer was abducted from is farm in Aghara area around 11pm with a widow identified as madam Toyin Onare, a labourer on the farm shot dead.
Onare was immediately rushed to a hospital in Kabba, but was confirmed dead on arrival.
Obadofin’s survival had been doubted following his kidnap as he was under medication for age-related ailment aside torture from his assailants.
