Lawmaker Marries Off 105 Orphaned Girls in Zamfara | Daily Report Nigeria

In a heartwarming gesture, Federal lawmaker Abdul Malik Zubairu has married off 105 orphaned girls whose parents were killed by bandits in Zamfara State.

The mass wedding ceremony took place on Saturday in Bungudu town, headquarters of Bungudu Local Government Area.

The occasion was attended by prominent personalities from within and outside the state, with the brides and grooms dressed in stunning attire.

The lawmaker provided the couples with beds and bedding materials, and paid ₦10.5 million as dowry for the 105 brides. Additionally, he gave each of the 105 bridegrooms ₦100,000 and ₦50,000 to each of the 105 grooms to start a business of their choice.

This noble act has brought hope and joy to the orphaned girls and their families, and has demonstrated the lawmaker’s commitment to supporting his community.

The mass wedding ceremony was a beautiful display of love, kindness, and generosity, and will be remembered for a long time.
