The Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi have helped secure Leicester City’s promotion back to the Premier League.

This was confirmed after Queen Park Rangers’ 4-0 victory over Leeds on Friday night.

Ilias Chair and Lucas Andersen scored in the first half to give QPR a comfortable lead. Lydon Dykes and Sam Field added two more goals after the break, sealing the win.

The result ensures QPR’s safety in the Championship for the next season.

Leicester City, now with 94 points and two games remaining, are in prime position to return to the Premier League. Leeds hold second place with 90 points, while Ipswich Town are in third with 89 points and three matches left to play.
